While the war between the Palestinians and the Israelis has never been at such a high point of violence, the demonstrators from the right wing of the political spectrum demonstrated in Tel-Aviv to express anger against the government headed by Prime Minister Ariel Sharon from the Likud for not doing enough against terrorism. About 100,000 people, some of them coming from jewish settlements in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, gathered for an evening of speeches, prayers, and songs in Rabin Square in central Tel-Aviv.
IsraTV met with the Chairman of the National Religious Party in the Knesset, MK Shaul Yahalom, and also with a few demonstrators to hear their point of view on the political situation: What do they think about the policy of the present government? What do they propose for the future with Arafat? Do they believe in a solution and in peace?

Eight people all together have been murdered from Gush Etzion (the others being Sassi Sasson, Dr. Shmuel Gillis, Koby Mandell, 13, and Yosi Ishran, 14). However, one cannot just spend all day long listening to the TV or radio news, reading the newspapers, or checking out online news sites. What do people do in order to get their minds off “The Situation”, as it is called ? What helps them cope ?
