In Egypt, Syria, Lebanon and Jordan, Israel is frequently compared to the Nazi regime of WW2. One can often read sentences like : "The Zionist terrorism takes multiple forms and means to achieve its goals. The so-called Israelis use many brutal methods, from cold blooded assassination to the slaughter and butchering of innocent lives." The Convention on the Rights of the Child states,
in article 38, that “the suffering of children in armed conflicts is a
major concern. War is a threat against all rights of the child; extra
efforts are required to protect for instance the right to education, health
and a good family environment in times of conflict”. The particular article
dealing with children in armed conflicts formulates that 18 is the minimum
age for child soldiers. Recently, her majesty Queen of Sweden showed her
worry for children involved in the Middle East conflict.
